“Back to Normal: Earthquake Recovery Modeling”

Henry Burton gave a talk to the California Seismic Safety Commission entitled “Back to Normal: Earthquake Recovery Modeling”. The presentation was the culmination of a collaborative project with the Global Earthquake Model (GEM). The Burton Research Group developed a computational model for simulating post-earthquake recovery of communities which was implemented in GEM’s Integrated Risk Modeling Toolkit.
