Henry Burton is a member of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research (PEER) Center team that was awarded a $3.4 million grant by the California Earthquake Authority (CEA) for a research project on Quantifying the Performance of Retrofit of Cripple Walls and Sill Anchorage in Single Family Wood-frame Buildings. Henry’s research group at UCLA will be working on structural modeling and loss estimation for existing vulnerable and retrofitted wood-frame buildings with cripple walls and sill anchorage.
